We understand that our boat owners and rental customers need peace of mind that they are insured for the unlikely and accidental events that may occur during a boat hire. Book My Boat requires all boats listed on the marketplace hold the appropriate boat hire & drive insurance coverage to ensure both parties are covered if a boat were to be damaged on the hire

Insurance Excess

Book My Boat ensures that all boats are insured with a suitable boat hire policy. Book My Boat provides customers with an opportunity to reduce their excess liability by offering 50% & 75% reductions at the time of booking

In The Event Of An Incident

If an incident has occurred during the rental of your boat, you can notify Book My Boat at admin@bookmyboat.com with the following information to initiate an investigation and the temporary hold of the security bond pending the outcome of the investigation:

a) Your customer ID
b) Date of incident
c) Time of incident
d) Details of incident
e) Any evidence of the incident/damage (pictures, correspondence with the renter etc)

Book My Boat will conduct an investigation into the claim. The outcome of the investigation will be provided to both parties to the claim
